Daniela Innamorati

Mezzosoprano

Born in Naples, she studied at the Conservatorio San Pietro at Majella, while at the same time studying for a degree in Classic Literature, obtaining maximum marks in both subjects. Whilst still in her 20s she began her career, singing in principal theatres throughout Italy, including the Arena di Verona, Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova and Teatro La Fenice di Venezia. Gifted with a full mezzo-soprano spinto voice she has achieved recognition at a very young age. Her international career began with her Covent Garden debut as Maddalena inRigoletto at the beginning of the 2010/11 Season.
She permormed Carmen in Catania; Cavalleria rusticana in Bergamo and Fano;Madama Butterfly at Arena Flegrea, Fenice (Venice), Beijing, San Carlo (Naples), Ascoli Piceno, Salerno and Savona;  Nabucco in Vigoleno and Parma; The old Maid and the Thief in Naples; Rigoletto at Covent Garden, in Salerno, Piacenza and Modena; La traviata at San Carlo of Naples.
Daniela Innamorati performed in concert as well: Stabat Mater (Pergolesi, Rossini and Dvorak), Messa da Requiem (Verdi) IX Symphony (Beethoven) and Das Lied von der Erde (Mahler).
Conductors with whom she has worked include: Marco Berdondini, Giampaolo Bisanti, Dan Ettinger, Elsa Evangelista, Ivo Lipanovic, Nicola Luisotti, Michele Mariotti, Juanjo Mena; Daniel Oren, Renato Piemontese, Dejan Savic, Diego Matheuz, Myung-Whun Chung.
Next engagements include Rigoletto at Fenice in Venice, at Teatro Valli of Reggio Emilia and at Royal Opera House London.
